Infants

Curriculum is the framework upon which teachers can build an Early Childhood program that allows children to grow and develop as Jesus did--"in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man" (Luke 2:52). Our developmentally appropriate curriculum is sequential and provides our teachers with a framework to support children’s learning while integrating Biblical truths and life application into every content area. The infant curriculum at the FBA is composed of the following elements:

Lifeway - WEE Learn

WEE Learn curriculum guides provide a range of age-appropriate activities designed to lay a foundation for understanding God, Jesus, Bible, church, self, family, others, and the natural world. These guides support learning centers, group activities, and home activities.

Gryphon House Innovations – Comprehensive Infant Curriculum

The Innovations Infant Curriculum is a complete, interactive curriculum for infants ages six weeks through 18 months of age. In addition to the wealth of activities, it also includes these critical components: applying child development theory to everyday experiences; using assessment to meet individual developmental needs; using the physical environment as a learning tool; developing a partner relationship with parents; and fostering an interactive climate in the classroom. It supports learning in a developmentally appropriate manner across all learning domains, encompassing all aspects of growing and learning.
