Hands-On Missions

Missions and service opportunities in Early Education at FBA allow for students to interact with others in local, state, national, and international communities. School-wide, monthly, Hands-On-Missions experiences serve to enrich students’ understanding of self and community and world in light of God’s plan for us to serve. Previous mission activities include giving gifts to the patients at Wolfson Children’s Hospital, donating food to Second Harvest food bank, collecting an offering to purchase animals through World Vision, making cards for the shut-ins of FBC JAX, giving clothing to Trinity Rescue Mission, and ministering to the FBC JAX facilities team. Additionally, students in our Transitioning Threes through Pre-K classrooms adopt class missionaries and enjoy praying for and making cards and gifts for their families throughout the year. Our students are learning that God can use them to help other people through praying, giving an offering, and using their hands. It is a joy to watch them learn to serve and observe the joy on their faces as they serve at this impressionable time in their young lives.
